From San Francisco/Bay Bridge (I-80 East)

• Take I-80 East over Bay Bridge
• Take the I-580 East exit toward Downtown Oakland/Hayward/Stockton
• Take the I-980 exit toward Downtown Oakland and stay in right lanes
• Take 14th/18th Street exit
• After one block, turn left onto 17th Street
• Follow 17th Street for 3 blocks, then turn right onto Clay Street.
• A half of a block past 16th street, you will see the Clay Street Garage on your left.
• The Clay Street garage is directly behind City Hall.

From Oakland Airport/Hayward/South Bay (I-880 North)

• Take I-880 North toward Downtown Oakland
• Take the Broadway exit into Oakland, follow Broadway for several blocks
• Turn left on 14th Street.
• You will see Frank H. Ogawa Plaza on your right, between Broadway and Clay.
• Take your first right onto Clay.
• About a half of a block up Clay Street you will see an entrance to the Clay street garage on your right.
• The Clay Street garage is directly behind City Hall.

From Contra Costa County (Hwy 24 West)

• Take Highway 24 toward Oakland and move into left lanes
• Take the I-980 exit toward Downtown Oakland and get into right lanes
• Take 14th/18th Street exit
• After one block, turn left onto 17th Street
• Follow 17th Street for 3 blocks, then turn right onto Clay Street.
• A half of a block past 16th street, you will see the Clay Street Garage on your left.
• The Clay Street garage is directly behind City Hall.

From Marin County/North Bay (I-580 East)

• Take I-580 Richmond/San Rafael Bridge toward Richmond/Oakland*
• Take I-580 East toward Downtown Oakland/Hayward/Stockton (left lanes off of bridge)
• Take the I-980 exit toward Downtown Oakland and get into right lanes
• Take 14th/18th Street exit
• After one block, turn left onto 17th Street
• Follow 17th Street for 3 blocks, then turn right onto Clay Street.
• A half of a block past 16th street, you will see the Clay Street Garage on your left.
• The Clay Street garage is directly behind City Hall.

Parking Options:

• 14th-at-Clay Garage — Behind City Hall. City Hall's front entrance faces east onto Frank Ogawa Plaza, diagonally across from the Rotunda Building.
• Garage on 14th between Clay and Broadway — Entrance on 14th St across from the south side of City Hall. City Hall's front entrance faces east onto Frank Ogawa Plaza, diagonally across from the Rotunda Building.
• Dalziel Garage — On 16th St between San Pablo Ave and Clay.
• Allbright Parking Garage — On 16th St between San Pablo Ave and Telegraph Ave.
• Rotunda Garage – Between 16th and 17th streets and San Pablo and Telegraph.
