In July 2009, the City of Oakland adopted the City Web Site Access Policy to ensure that all City web pages are designed to be substantially compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. All new or modified City web site content will minimally conform to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) / Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Conformance Level A.

Change Font Size
To change the font size of any City of Oakland web page, hold CTRL and +/- simultaneously or use the default zoom text options located in your browser settings:
Internet Explorer (I.E.) users, choose "View - Text Size" from the browser menu.
Mozilla Firefox users should choose "View - Zoom" from their browser menu.
