Oakland, CA – The East Bay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (EBSPCA) and Oakland Animal Services (OAS) - a unit of the Oakland Police Department, collaborated last week to rescue 21 rabbits from an Oakland home. more »

On May 3rd at 4:30 P.M., an Oakland Patrol Officer responded to a report of trespassers inside of an unoccupied home. Officers on scene recovered two van loads of items believed to be taken from homes in Oakland, Piedmont, Orinda, Berkeley, and Kensington. Recovered items include personal documents, televisions, computers, tools, and jewelry. Although OPD has been able to return some of the items to victims, many more are still being held. The police have no leads for these items. more »

Oakland, CA – On June 21, 2011, at approximately 5:45 P.M, Oakland Police Officers were dispatched to a possible shooting in the 8200 block of A Street. Oakland Police Officers responded to the area and found an African American male in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. more »
