Oakland, CA - On December 16, 2011 at approximately 4:53 pm a bank robbery
occurred at the Wells Fargo located at 2220 Mountain Boulevard. Investigators
have reason to believe the same individual is responsible for committing another
recent bank robbery on December 13, 2011, at the Chase Bank located at 3310
International Boulevard.

Police Department responded to the 400 block of 14th street on a report of a street
robbery. The quick response of the officers and the accurate description and cooperation of
the victim lead to the arrest and conviction of four individuals responsible for at

The City of Oakland administrative offices will be closed between Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2 for a combination of City holidays and business closure days as a result of budget cutbacks. Police, fire and emergency services are not affected during the holidays or business closures.

from the media and the public in identifying the woman wearing this dress.
On December 15, 2011 at about 8:15AM, in the 100 block of Clay Street, a
security officer discovered a female in the Oakland Estuary clinging to the
rocks. The Oakland Police Department and medical personnel responded
to the scene and pulled the female from the water.

Oakland, CA – The Oakland Black Officers Association (OBOA) will host its 1st Annual Holiday Mixer for senior citizens. In addition to dinner being served, OBOA members will facilitate games and prizes during the four hour event.
