Oakland, CA – On May 16, 2012 at 10:40 AM the Oakland Police Department responded
the area of 73rd Avenue and Spencer Street on a report of a burglary. When officers
arrived on scene, witnesses provided a description of the vehicle used by the suspects
during the burglary as well as a description of suspects. It was reported that three
firearms were taken during the burglary.

Oakland CA – On Friday, May 25th, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) in
partnership with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
(NCMEC) will observe National Missing Children’s Day this year by participating
in the national Take 25 child safety campaign. “This is an opportunity for us to
really stress the importance of keeping our children safe” stated Chief Howard
Jordan. He went on to say “child exploitation is a serious problem, and we all have
responsibility to do what we can to address it.”

Oakland, CA — Oakland Police Investigators released this photo of the person
they believe to be responsible for an attempted bank robbery.
On May 21, 2012, at 2:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located
at 1221 Broadway. The suspect approached the teller and demanded money. Prior
to the suspect obtaining any money he left the bank.

Oakland, CA – The Oakland Police Department requests assistance in locating Eid
Luqman Hasan who is wanted for fleeing a vehicle stop and threatening officers with
a firearm as he ran. Hasan, an African-American male, born May 18, 1988, is 5’11”
tall, and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is pictured in the attached
photo. The Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering
a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.

Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public
aware of a sexual assault. A 35- year old female reported that on May 1, 2012, at
1:30 PM, she was walking in the 9000 block of Holly Street when she was
approached by a stranger and physically forced to the ground. While on the ground
the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. During the assault the victim struck the
suspect in the face with her keys and told him she was going to call the police. The
suspect then ran from the scene.
