Recreation Centers
The City of Oakland, Office of Parks and Recreation operates multiple community-based centers spanning the entire City. Free and low-cost programs for people of all ages and backgrounds are offered in recreation, sports, arts and culture, computers, general learning, after-school activities and more.

Reserving a Recreation Center
Our parks, recreations centers and pools are available for meetings, workshops, parties, family events, and social gatherings. We can accommodate groups as small as three people or as large as 200! Fees include rental of the facility, security deposit, and setup/teardown fees.
Recreation Centers may be reserved 30 days to 11 months in advance of the requested reservation date. If a request is approved for an event within two weeks to 30 days, an administrative service fee will apply. NO reservation requests are accepted less than two weeks in advance.
