Is the after school program at your school full? Do you want your kids to experience recreation at it’s best? REGISTER NOW for After School @ Tassa! Students will enjoy all that Tassa has to offer. Staff will meet your child at their school (see schools below) and safely walk them to the center. There will be a healthy snack provided daily in addition to the great programs that we offer. Students will receive homework assistance, enjoy cooking class, gardening, sports, karate, science projects, art and dance. AND THAT’S NOT ALL!! New programs will be added throughout the school year. COST: FREE!!!

GIRLS SCOUTS
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30 pm
Turning our girls into leaders of tomorrow! Girl Scouts is an excellent program for our young girls to learn life skills and lessons. Grades K-8th. COST: TBD Program begins in April. See Ms. Ashante for more information.
WE NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION!
Tassafaronga Advisory Council advises the center director on program content, special events and focus of the center. Members also help organize community events and fundraisers. Teens and adults are welcome to become members.
ACTA NON VERBA: YOUTH URBAN FARM & COMMUNITY GARDEN
Acta Non Verba as started a youth operated urban farm at Tassafaronga Park. We have plans for a number of 50ft. raised garden beds available to neighborhood families to grow food. We are seeking youth ages 5-13 for our youth gardening program. We plan to teach your children how to create a farming business, tell people about it. CALLING ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS!!! We need your help! We have set up a number of community planning meetings to get you and your families input. Meetings are scheduled for the First Saturday of every month beginning in March.
