Private Lessons in sailing, kayaking, and canoeing are available for those whose personal needs are not met in the schedule of classes or who feel a one on one learning environment is best for them. $40 ($48 for non-residents) per hour with a 3 hour minimum for sailing lessons.
Private Group Boating Lessons
Bring your youth group or co-workers down to the lake for an introduction to pedalboating, canoeing, kayaking, dragonboating, or whaleboat rowing on Lake Merritt. Lessons highlight water safety, lifejacket fittings, basic techniques, and fun! Cost is $25/hour per instructor plus boat rental fees. Call 510-238-2196 to schedule.
Lake Pontoon Tours
If you would like to sit back and relax, take a tour of Lake Merritt, we offer tours aboard our 28 foot Pontoon Boats for an hourly fee of $80 ($96 for non-residents). Limit 19 people. Call 510-238-2196 to schedule.
