City Stables, a 7.2 acre site, is located on Skyline Boulevard in the Oakland hills. Oakland Stables represents a unique asset for the City of Oakland offering specialized activities for inner-city youth through programs on horseback riding, sustainable agriculture and related fields.

City Stables To Re-open in 2013
Pending approval from Oakland City Council, OPR will be working with a local equestrians to open the Stables. We are working towards opening and operating by Fall 2013. Stall rentals, riding lessons, outdoor programs, community gardening and special horse related programs will be offered to the citizens of Oakland, with a special emphasis placed on serving youth from low income families and under-served areas, seniors and people with special needs.
