Dog Play Areas
The Office of Parks and Recreation has 5 Dog Play Areas where canines can run free, play and meet new friends. Before heading out for fun with Fido, please review the Dog Play area rules. Hours of operation follow park hours. Parks and Recreation wants your dogs to Come Out and Play the OPR Way! The following list of dog parks and their locations are available to you and your pet.
Dog Play Area Hours: Unless posted, Dog Play Area hours of operation follow park hours and are closed from dusk to dawn.

DOG PLAY PARTIES
Fido and 11 of his friends can join us for a program of agility play, games and special treat packages.
DOG BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Have a special day for your furry companion with a few of his friends. Choose a Pirate or Western theme. You provide the cake; we provide the rest. Souvenir picture to capture the special moment is included in the package.
PUPPY PLAY CLASS
Need to socialize your little one and teach them a few obedience skills? Reserve your spot! Chew toys and dog care information provided. Puppies must have their current required shots.
SENIOR DOG FITNESS CLASS
You can teach old dogs new tricks! Start with a comfortable, healthy, low-key fitness program tailored for your companions’ pace to help them get the excercise needed for their twilight years
and socialize with others their age. The program also deals with eldercare issues for owners.
POOL PARTY & CANINE ACTIVITY FAIR
Owners, pets, families and friends can enjoy a day of swim, learn about pet CPR, have your pet micro chipped and much more. Rates to be announced after summer programs end. The price range for activities listed above is $50-$400. For more information, call (510) 238-7275.
