Permit Center
One Stop for Planning and Building Services
The Permit Center provides public counter services, permit and plan check processing, and consultation services for local and state code requirements related to the design and construction of commercial and residential structures.
Plan Check Engineers from the Permit Center are responsible for reviewing plans submitted for the construction of Single Family Residences and additions, and interior tenant improvements to new commercial and industrial structures to verify conformance to applicable codes. Staff also provides public counter service for issuance of construction permits, plan check submittals and general information related to code and construction requirements. Architects and engineers who specialize in structural, life safety, disabled access, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and property grading perform plan reviews of complex commercial projects, to serve the public in identifying code requirements and to insure the safety of the general public that utilize these structures.
