Talton has committed numerous grand thefts in the city of Oakland in which he targeted

On Saturday March 19, 2011, a team of Oakland Police Officers will participate in the St.Baldrick’s foundation fundraiser for cancer research at Children’s Hospital. As a sign of solidarity with children suffering from cancer, officers raised money through sponsorships of family and friends, and on Saturday they will shave their heads! more »

OPD will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint on Friday, March 4, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. In an effort to reduce the number of persons killed and injured in alcohol involved crashes, DUI checkpoints are conducted to identify offenders and get them off the street, as well as educate the public on the dangers of impaired driving. more »
