Oakland, CA - On December 16, 2011 at approximately 4:53 pm a bank robbery
occurred at the Wells Fargo located at 2220 Mountain Boulevard. Investigators
have reason to believe the same individual is responsible for committing another
recent bank robbery on December 13, 2011, at the Chase Bank located at 3310
Oakland, CA - On December 10, 2011 at approximately 2:59 am the Oakland
Police Department responded to the 400 block of 14th street on a report of a street
robbery. The quick response of the officers and the accurate description and cooperation of
the victim lead to the arrest and conviction of four individuals responsible for at
least one street robbery.

Annual Adopt-A-Family Week December 19 - 23, 2011. During this week, PAL

On December 15, 2011 at about 8:15AM, in the 100 block of Clay Street, a
security officer discovered a female in the Oakland Estuary clinging to the
rocks. The Oakland Police Department and medical personnel responded
to the scene and pulled the female from the water.
Oakland, CA – The Oakland Black Officers Association (OBOA) will host its 1st Annual Holiday Mixer for senior citizens. In addition to dinner being served, OBOA members will facilitate games and prizes during the four hour event. The Oakland Police Department Traffic Division will conduct its annual “Motor Santa” Operation to provide toys to children (up to the age of 12) throughout the City of Oakland. This is a Traffic Division tradition.
Oakland, CA - The Latino Peace Officers’ Association will kick off their annual Warm Coat Operation. Police Officers will hand deliver multiple warm coats to St. Elizabeth Church, which will then distribute the coats to the homeless and people in need.
Oakland, CA — Oakland Police Department Investigators released this sketch of a
person they believe to be responsible for the Sexual Assault that occurred on
December 4, 2011 at 8:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of 91st Avenue.
The suspect is described as an African American male, 30-39 years old, 5’11”, 200
pounds, short black hair, brown eyes, goatee, dark complexion, wearing a black
hat, black hooded jacket and black sweatpants.
Oakland, CA – On December 7, 2011 the Oakland Police Department Gang
Intelligence Task Force (GITF) executed a search warrant at a residence in the
2100 block of 57th Avenue. As a result of this operation, a total of six people were
arrested, including four women and two men.
