On March 27th and 28th, Oakland welcomes our first running festival and marathon event. In order to ensure public safety, there will be temporary street closures and parking restrictions in effect.
On March 5, 2010, at 2:35 PM, gunshots were reported in the 1000 block of 30th Street. Oakland Police Department Patrol Division Officer Michael Osanna was on routine patrol and heard the gunshots. As Officer Osanna continued to investigate the gunshots he observed a vehicle fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed;
Officers Melissa Geraci, Jamin Creed, Russell
Mederios, and Delmar Tompkins responded to Cleveland Avenue and Radnor Avenue on a report of
a vandalism that had just occurred. Upon arrival they located several vehicles with their windows
smashed. Officers contacted the owners of some of the victims' vehicles. It was determined that
several auto burglaries had occurred.
The Oakland Police Department requests the public's help in locating Charles Edwards.
