Investigators have released this photo of the person they believe to be responsible for committing a strong arm robbery of an 82-year-old victim on March 28, 2014, at 7:15 PM, in the area of Coolidge and Brookdale avenues.

Rancourt was riding the shuttle to BART when he saw a vehicle near Hegenberger Avenue at the San Leandro off-ramp hit the median, overturn, and land on its roof. Rancourt asked the driver of the bus to let him off so he could help.

Oakland, CA — The Oakland Police Department would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault that occurred in the 950 block of E.28th Street near Bella Vista Elementary School.
On March 28, 2014 at 3:15 PM, the victim, who is a 6-year-old female, was lured away from the school by the suspect and assaulted. After the assault the victim was able to return to the school to alert an adult.
Oakland, CA – The Oakland Police Department has identified and arrested two of
three suspects wanted in connection with numerous armed robberies of commercial
establishments in North Oakland and other areas of the City.
The arrests were the result of the community and OPD working together to identify
and located these criminal offenders. The OPD team included a Crime Reduction
Team, led by Sergeant Joseph McGuinn; Problem Solving officers, led by Sergeant
Francisco Rojas; the Gangs Guns and Intelligence Task Force officers; and the
Criminal Investigation team.
