Department Traffic Section will conduct its annual Motor Santa Operation to
provide toys to children (12 and under) throughout the City of Oakland.
In this Traffic Section tradition, a traffic officer dresses up as Santa and rides his
motorcycle throughout the City of Oakland, passing out toys to children he

Oakland, CA – Oakland police investigators released the attached photo of an individual they believe to be responsible for a bank robbery.
On November 24, 2015 at approximately 10:45am, the suspect entered the Citibank Bank located at 1325 Broadway. He approached a teller and demanded money. After committing the robbery, the suspect fled on foot with the loss. more »
Oakland, CA — In the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 24, 2015, the
Oakland Police Department Ceasefire Team and 14 Bay Area law enforcement
agencies served 20 search warrants.
Fourteen warrants were served in Oakland. Other warrants were served in Antioch,
Dublin, Sacramento, San Lorenzo, Stockton, and Tracy. The warrants were issued
for crimes such as double homicide (September 2015), shooting, robbery, and weapons violations. more »
Oakland, CA — On Monday, November 23, 2015, Oakland Police Department
Homicide Investigators announced that an arrest had been made in connection with
the September 29, 2015 murder of muralist Antonio Ramos.
Today, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and has charged Marquise Holloway with murder and multiple counts of robbery. more »
