About
The Center offers a full range of social, recreational, nutrition and health education activities. Salsa, swing and Line dancing classes meet on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. Each month the Center holds special activities such as dances and flea markets. On-site parking is available. Other Center activities include Tai Chi, Yoga, fitness classes, blood pressure screening, travel programs, computer classes and information on local senior services. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at Noon. North Oakland Senior Center is also the site of an adult day care program for frail seniors. The North Oakland Senior Center Advisory Council meets on the second Thursday of each month at 1 p.m.
