Teresa Jackson
Administrative Assistant
Teresa Jackson manages the Councilmember's calendar. In addition, she is the first point of contact for the District Three offices, responding to constituent complaints and other issues. Prior to coming to the City, Teresa worked with Youth Radio and other nonprofits. Teresa graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Black Studies. Teresa volunteers with various City organizations, including the Mayor's Toy Drive, the City Holiday Parade, and is assigned staff for Councilmember Nadel to the City of Oakland Community Action Partnership. Carletta Starks
Community Liaison/Policy Analyst
Carletta Starks is the Community Liaison/Policy Analyst to Councilmember Nadel. She handles community issues and is responsible for working with residents of Adams Point, Jack London, West Oakland, Telegraph/Northgate, Richmond Blvd., Mosswood, and the Downtown areas. In addition, she handles legislative affairs and staffs council committees for the Councilmember. Prior to coming to the City, Carletta was the Principal Administrative Analyst in the Division of Academic Affairs at the University of California. Carletta has a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University.
