Lynette has served as the Executive Director of a multi-million dollar non-profit,working hard to develop affordable housing, expand economic opportunity and curb violence in low-income communities. Born and raised in Oakland’s District 4, Libby Schaaf has centered her life and career on building community, solving problems, and leading change in her hometown. Council District 5 - Noel Gallo
Noel Gallo is a lifelong resident of Oakland; he grew up in the Fruitvale/San Antonio District neighborhoods. He attended local schools, graduated from Saint Elizabeth High School and the University of California, Berkeley, with a Business Degree.Noel was elected to the Oakland Board of Education in 1992 and has worked tirelessly to improve and increase educational opportunities for our youth, by working with public and private sector organizations. Noel helped lead 6 successful funding campaigns, generating over a $1 billion dollars for schools.
